Michele Flynch, PHD, RN is a skilled intensive care nurse and leader. She currently holds the position of Director of Nursing at Liberty Endoscopy Center. Ms. Flynch is highly accomplished at developing clinical teams in providing exceptional and compassionate patient care. Before joining Liberty Endoscopy in 2018, she was the Assistant Nurse Manager at Lenox Hill Hospital Medical ICU and Step-down Telemetry units.

Ms. Flynch received her Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from Long Island University; a Master of Arts in Nursing Administration from Teacher’s College Columbia University; and a Ph.D. from Pace University.

Ms. Flynch’s doctoral research explores implications following physical restraint use on patients in critical care settings during the Covid-19 pandemic. She also has a keen interest in global health and alternative medicine.

Ms. Flynch is an active member of the American Nurses Association, American Association of Critical Care Nurses and Sigma Honor Society of Nursing. She is a past Jonas Nurse Leader Scholar (2016-2018).

Ms. Flynch co-authored an article published in BioMed Central (BMC) Women’s Health. Her research focused on health behaviors and practices in Ghana and how they may be influenced by differences in culture and geography.
