They are thorough and professional while attending kindly and compassionately to the person in front of them. My fiancée liked the front staff – they were sweet, helpful, above and beyond. There was a wait but the nurses were very nice and gave her warm blankets, took care of her, were sympathetic. The anesthesiologist gave her nice looks as she went to sleep. The wake up nurse was also really nice. (As told to me – she is still a little loopy!)
The Liberty Endoscopy Center is great. All the staff is super friendly and helpful (and, they always respond all the calls!!), and Dr. Dubrovskaya is also a very professional above-and-beyond doctor. I was so scared because my procedure required anesthesia, but the truth was that I felt great after it, the anesthesiologist Dr. Pierre-Paul is definitely someone you can trust. I went home shortly after my procedure was over as the anesthesia they use is very light and short-acting. My only concern was that I had to wait for quite a bit due to some delay with patients before me, but I guess this is inevitable and happens all the time (besides, the nurse who helped me kept me engaged in a funny conversation so the wait time wasn’t so annoying for me). To cut it short, I would recommend Liberty Endoscopy Center to my friends and family.
No one wants to have procedures done, and so the best you can hope for is that the support staff and the folks you interact with are kind, compassionate, and genuine, not to mention efficient – to speed you through the process, but also to make sure your needs are being met as you progress. Liberty Endoscopy does all this and more – I was treated with nothing but respect from the moment I walked in the door. I had just returned from Mexico, and had to get another COVID test, which complicated matters, but the receptionist at the desk scheduled it for me no problem and all I had to do was walk down the street and return, less than a block. I would like to specially thank Verna, who was my nurse from the beginning of the procedure right up to discharge, and also Daphne, the anesthesiologist, who were both warm, intelligent, and genuinely personable. Thank you also to Dalia, who complemented Verna’s humor nicely (a second nurse for one patient! such luxury!) as well as to Leo, the tech in the room during my procedure. I highly recommend Liberty Endoscopy for all the above reasons. I even had a great, easy conversation with their insurance benefits manager, Carlyne, on the phone prior to my appointment and also had a nurse call to check up on me the day after! Could not speak more highly of this facility and its staff. I used to work in an operating room myself, and though I am aware that endoscopy is not as intense as a surgical procedure, it does carries many of the same risks, and I trusted this staff implicitly. They even performed a time-out prior to my procedure, in which I was delighted to participate. Thanks again to everyone involved!
My first time inside since covid protocols allowed escorts in the building. The patient and the escort are treated with the utmost courtesy and care!!!! I would highly recommend this facility. I was not familiar with the area but there is no free parking but there are plenty of places to wait and eat while you wait. Excellent NY sites in walking distance. They kept me informated of the status and set my expectations. My relative was happy when he came out from the procedure ready to go home. Great anesthesia!!!
First colonoscopy; Dr. Motola and the crew at Liberty was absolutely amazing start to finish. Verna and Chandni were warm, sensitive, knowledgeable and considerate. I had heard horror stories about the experience of having a colonoscopy and this experience couldn’t have been further from that description. MANY thanks to the entire staff, Raven, Michael…every single person made the experience so easy from guiding me through preparation instructions, checking in, making sure I was comfortable, and the best news was a clean bill of health! THANK YOU LIBERTY!!!!
Dr Park was my Anesthesiologist, Ms Dalia and Ms Chandhi were my nurse. They were awesome!!!
My entire endoscopy procedure was perfect. The nurses Chandni and Dalia were so nice to me. I felt like a child 🙂 Thank you! Dr. Park walked me through every step of the anesthesia. He was amazing. Thanks a lot to him and Dr. Dubrovskaya who performed the procedure. I felt I was in good hands. Highly recommend!
