I wanted to give a big shout out to Carilyn! (Please lmk if I misspelled the name and I will fix it up). A couple days before my procedure, she rang me to explain exactly what to expect in terms of benefits, insurance, prices, and payment options. Everything was explained accessibly and in such a friendly way! It was like having a secret friend that understands the world of insurance and walks you through everything without you having to lift a finger. She was so helpful in addressing all of my questions and I really can’t believe how easy she made this part of getting healthcare. What a gem of a person! Post-procedure update: Carilyn was just the tip of the iceberg. Everyone from intake staff to physicians were absolutely top-notch. wish all life’s experiences were this smooth and enjoyable (who knew such a phrase could even apply to an invasive med procedure?? 🙂 ).
